Neste fim de semana, a Prefeitura de Campo Grande, através da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde (Sesau), realiza plantão de vacinação em unidades de saúde, supermercado e em ação no Parque das Nações Indígenas. Todas as vacinas do calendário estarão disponíveis, incluindo a gripe e Covid-19.

No sábado, dia 25, a vacinação estará acontecendo nas USFs Popular e Estrela Dalva, das 7h às 17h, no Supermercado Comper Itanhangá, das 12h às 18h, e na 10ª Edição da ação Deixa Brincar da Aliança Para Infância. No domingo, dia 26, a vacinação será apenas no Supermercado Comper, das 9h às 16h. No supermercado estará sendo disponibilizada apenas a vacina da gripe.

A secretária municipal de Saúde, Rosana Leite de Melo, destaca a importância da vacinação, sobretudo para as pessoas do chamado grupo de risco, que inclui os idosos.  “Estas pessoas acabam sendo mais suscetíveis a desenvolverem formas graves da doença, aumentando o risco de internação e morte. Por isso é fundamental que elas sejam vacinadas, reduzindo assim os riscos”, complementa.

Neste ano, já foram notificados 1.459  casos de Síndromes Respiratórias Agudas Graves (SRAGS) em Campo Grande, sendo 181 de Influenza A. A doença vitimou 16 pessoas até o momento no município. Em razão do aumento expressivo dos casos de doenças respiratórias, o município decretou situação de emergência por 90 dias.

Em Campo Grande, até o dia 24 de maio foram aplicadas 151.427 doses de vacinas contra a Gripe. Desde o mês passado, a vacina da gripe está liberada para todas as pessoas a partir de seis meses. Durante a semana as doses estão disponíveis nas 74 unidades de saúde de família espalhadas pelas sete regiões urbanas e distritos do município.
